Resources
Below are backcountry and uphill resources to help you be informed before you head out into the snow. Get to know them
and get out and enjoy!
Payette Avalanche Center (PAC): The PAC is our local avalanche forecasting center. Read the forecast and know before you go!

Central Idaho Avalanche Centers
Sawtooth Avalanche Center: Based in the Ketchum/Sun Valley area of Idaho, the SAC forecasts for terrain that borders the West-Central mountains and can provide useful data points for the snowpack and avalanche hazard in those areas.
